Perles y Campos, Josef Faustino (¿?-1689-¿?)

No son muchas las noticias de que disponemos sobre José Faustino Perles y Campos, y que solo pueden ser entresacadas de su obra. Por su primer apellido, es probable que fuese de origen catalán, aunque desconocemos el lugar exacto y la fecha de su nacimiento. Delante de su nombre pone las iniciales R. D., que hemos de interpretar como Reverendo Don, lo cual significaría que era de condición religiosa. En la firma de la dedicatoria dice que es capellán. Y nada más podemos decir de él, salvo que era español, probablemente de origen catalán.

Perles es autor de una Gramática española escrita en italiano –pese al título–, pues iba dirigida a los italianos que deseaban aprender nuestra lengua. Por su finalidad didáctica, expresada en el prólogo, la gramática va acompañada de una nomenclatura, bilingüe en español e italiano (págs. 236 y 269), que se completa con una colección de «Proverbios españoles, Proverbi spagnoli, o Refranes castillanos, o Refrani catigliani», también en las dos lenguas (págs. 270-322). Para la elaboración de la gramática, Perles debía conocer las gramáticas italianas anteriores, así como la Gramática francesa dividida en tres partes [...] (Imprenta de Bernardo de Villadiego, a costa de Florian Anisson, Madrid, 1688; la primera edición es de 1672, y hay otra en dos partes de 1687, todas en la BVFE) de Pierre Paul Billet (ca. 1640-ca. 1715). El contenido de la nomenclatura no es muy extenso (835 entradas) y los equivalentes son palabra a palabra. La colección de refranes está ordenada alfabéticamente a partir del español, con el refrán equivalente en italiano, pero sin más explicaciones, llegan hasta la secuencia ma- y solamente son 361, además de haber entre ellos algunas frases hechas.

The BVFE regurlaly publishes new bibliographical recordsLatest bibliographical records. Our team is constantly searching for new entries. We choose our content meticulously and verify our links regularly.

Several times a month

We add new content several times a month. We gradually add more content to existing entries, and likewise add more categories and subcategories as future needs require reclassification.

Printing bibliographical records

All of the bibliographical recordsImprimir registro de la Biblioteca Virtual de la Filología Española that are in the BVFE can be printed. Click on the "Print" button located below each record. A new window will open with the content of the file ready for printing.

Printing the works

The BVFE does not own the intellectual property rights to the entries, it only selects, organizes and indicates the sites where they are located. As such, it is impossible to print the copies from the BVFE. You must agree to the legal conditions of the websites that contain the copies.

Extensions

We are currently devising several extensions for the website. We will gradually integrate upgrades and more functions. The BVFE welcomes any suggestions that our users may have.

Submission of new URLs

Clicking on the + sign located on the dropdown tab at the top of the website Refer a URL or make a suggestion will take you to a form that has a field where you can send a URL address that has not yet been included in the BVFE. It is simple to use: just indicate the URL of the entry and we will do the rest, after completing the corresponding checks.
